What is your movement background?
Cheerleader from age 5 to 18, including competition cheering.
I discovered Pilates while going to school in North Carolina and was hooked after just a few classes! It strengthens the core by focusing on the principles of centering, concentration and control. Pilates is a sensible workout and that is the main reason I love to teach it.
What is your favorite apparatus and why?
The chair. It’s a simple piece of equipment that you can do many exercises with. Upper body and leg strength is challenged a lot.
