What is your movement background?
Former ballet and jazz and tap dancer. Trained in Alexander Technique and Feldenkreis.
For me, Pilates is the most challenging and sensical workout. I get my cardio, strength, abdominals , and stretch all in one. Yes, Pilates does get my heart rate up and I do sweat– A LOT.
What is your favorite apparatus and why?
Reformer. The reformer is the next best thing to having my own personal coach. There is an order of exercises and sequence which allows me to flow from one exercise to the next. The springs tell me how efficiently I am working. There is not one muscle in my body that does not work
