• What is a Comprehensive Pilates Training Program?

  A Comprehensive Program teaches the entire system of Pilates. You will learn exercises on the mat, reformer, Cadillac, barrels, chairs, pedipoles , and small apparatus. You will also learn how to teach Pilates as a system for various fitness levels.

• Who is eligible to apply to our program?

  Real Pilates invites all interested parties to apply to our program. We recommend all applicants have a minimum of 6 months experience across all studio apparatus. No applicant will be denied on the basis of an individual’s race, color, religion, creed, sex, national origin, age, disability, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, veteran status or any other status protected by federal, state, and local laws or ordinances.

• How much time is required each week?

  The RPTT program is a rigorous 30 week program with a weekly commitment of 18 - 22 hours per week to be accomplished according to your schedule and the schedule of your Host studio. These hours are divided into teaching, practice, observation and homework. But… we have multiple protocols for extensions should one be necessary.

• How is the program broken down?

  The 600 hour program is broken down into:

  • 4 Weekend Seminars (72 hours/ 1 weekend per month for the first 4 months.)

  • Live Teaching (180 hours) to be done at the host studio.

  • Observation (85 hours) done in the host studio. Some observation can be done online.

  • Weekly Online Homework (80 hours)

  • Self Practice (95 hours)

  • Weekly sessions with Real Pilates approved trainer (60 hours)

  • Testing (13 hours) Trainees will have various quizzes and practical tests throughout the program as well as a final test out.

• Do I need to physically be in the studio or can I do the course online?

  You must be in the studio for the seminars, self practice, and teaching. Some observation hours can be done online.

• I have a full time job, when can I complete my hours?

  You may do your hours anytime the studio is open. Studio hours are :

  Monday - Thursday 630am-7pm

  Friday- 6:30 am- 3pm

  Saturday- 630 am- 3 pm

  Sunday:- By appointment

• How much does the program cost?

  The Real Pilates course costs $5,750. You will also need to pay for your training package consisting of 20 private sessions and 40 semi private sessions. The cost of the training package is $2800.

• Do you offer payment plans?

  Yes. Payment plans are available for tuition and the training package.

• Do I get to take free group classes?

  Yes! If you are an apprentice at The Pilates Project, you can take an available spot in a group class free of charge.

• Are there any paid teaching opportunities throughout the program?

  Yes- After your Intermediate 1 test out you can start teaching at an apprentice rate and will be compensated.

• Can I finish the program in less than 30 weeks?

  No. The program must be completed in a minimum of 30 weeks.
