Ever wondered, what's the best workout in the world? Easy answer - it's the one you can stick with. Here are a few tips we've found help people stay on track with their Pilates practice...
Make it a Standing Appointment. The most consistent clients are those that are routine driven and come the same time every week. Call your studio and ask what their standing options are.
Make it a Habit. Working out, especially as we age, becomes less optional. Committing to a predictable workout time makes for a smoother adjustment into a new routine. Things always come up but try not to schedule other daily "to do's" during your specified workout time. Remember, no one is better designated to prioritize your physical and mental health but you!
Make it a Date. Exercising with a friend is a great way to stay accountable and awaken your competitive instinct. Plus, you're way less likely to cancel if it means letting somebody else down.
Just Make It. We all have those days we would rather be doing anything else than working out. Keep in mind that half the battle is just getting there. Your instructor will take it from there.
